Youth Development Programme
Village youth, many of them were school drop outs, formed a Youth club of Shanker Development to organise welfare activities and help executing the activities of the Shankar Rural Development Foundation. A mandal level Sports meet was organised by the club by raising contributions. About 80 youth from 10 villages around Chilver participated in the games competition – Kabaddi, volley ball, badminton and shuttle. All locally in vogue sports and games were selected for the competition. It was a very successful event which developed unity of the youth besides boosting the confidence of organising social activity.
